I'm Sorry

I want to start by apologizing for taking so long to write a new post. When Ryan moved to the island my free time was spent with him and as a result my blog suffered! Just kidding..I take the blame. As most of you know I am currently back in the states! It feels good to be home except that Ryan is still in St. Maarten finishing up some work. I can't believe how fast the last 4 months went by. It feels like just yesterday when I was starting this blog.

School ended very well for me. Finals were rough but I made it through thanks to my unbelievable husband. Now I'm going to brag a little: While I studied hours and hours, Ryan took care of all our meals and all the cleaning. He has become an amazing cook, and he learned so fast! I couldn't have done it without him.

I honored one class and received B's in the other two. Also I decided to run for the recruitment coordinator position for the organization I'm a part of: American Medical Student Association (AMSA). I found out at the end of finals week that I was selected! Very excited about that. Then, and even more exciting, I was chosen to be a TA for Anatomy Lab by my professor! The decision was based on grades, dissection skills, and teaching ability. So happy I made it because now I will be able to stay up-to-date on anatomy.

Other than school, Ryan and I will be in town until January 1st. We have a long list of restaurants and places to visit so let us know if you'd like to join us. Bentley had to stay home with the housesitters because we didn't want to put her and us through the stress of flying again until we leave for good. She sends her licks! Sorry again for not posting sooner. I don't start school until 9:30 next semester so I will make more time to write. Merry Christmas!
